Endurance Event Pages
Endurance event pages allow you to raise funds for a great cause at Yale School of Medicine while you participate in your event. Your page will also provide you with the option to live stream your endurance event so that donors can watch you in real time, send notes of encouragement, and donate.
Yale School of Medicine has many areas you can support on your endurance event page. When you go to create your page, you will have the opportunity to indicate what you would like to fundraise for, such as one of our departments, institutes, and centers (e.g., Yale Cancer Center, Neurology, Women's Health Research at Yale), one of our Campaign Strategic Initiatives (e.g., Diabetes and Metabolism, Health Equity), a faculty member or physician's work, or a specific area of research/clinical care (e.g., heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, breast cancer, multiple sclerosis).
Some great examples of endurance events you can create a fundraising page for are:
- Marathons
- 5Ks and 10Ks
- Long-Distance Cycling
- Triathlons
- Swims
- Hikes
- Walks
- Long-Distance Rowing/Kayaking
*Please note that you are welcome to register for any endurance event of your choice, and then create an online fundraising page to promote your event benefiting the Yale School of Medicine. However, Yale School of Medicine cannot register for you or pay for your entry.
If you have any questions about creating an endurance event page, please email us at digitalfundraising@yale.edu.
